Our speaker for the evening will be Lewis Belknap, VP of Planning and Order Fulfillment at McKee Foods Corporation. Lewis’ experience at McKee Foods includes 10 years in manufacturing, 10 years in shipping, and 10 years in supply chain. He has been with the company for most of the geographic sales growth, addition of new manufacturing facilities and distribution centers, and the year-to-year changes in the economy that can impact profitability. His top-level goal in his current position is “exceptional customer service at the lowest cost”. He achieves this goal through his broad experience, family business background, and the ability to easily move between operational details and the big picture results.
Lewis will be sharing his “Recipe for Supply Chain Efficiency”. What role does good information play? Good for who? What is good enough? What role does forecasting play in supply chain efficiency? What type of teams and individuals bring all these elements together in the right way? Join us to get the answers to these and additional insight into supply chain design for performance.
