Manager at the Roper Corporation.   Rhonda has been with Roper Corp, a wholly owned subsidiary of GE, for 25 years.  She has held a wide variety of roles including Site Lean Leader, Manager of Advanced Materials, Manager of O.D., H.R. Shop Relations, and Team Development Specialist.

Rhonda will be sharing her extensive knowledge in the field of Lean Manufacturing and sharing topics related to Roper Corp’s. continuous improvement journey.

With an undergraduate degree in history and sociology, a masters in organizational management, and various certifications in IT Service Management, project management, and teaching – along with her hands-on experience in systems, process, and performance consulting – Grace has developed a balanced and effective framework to help individuals and organizations become premier service providers.  This framework includes the best of service management practices, constraints theory, systems thinking, adult learning methodologies, play theory, and just plain common sense.

Based up on last survey feedback, the Tri-State APICS chapter will be experimenting with different locations in the Hamilton Place area this year. Please attend these events and give us your feedback on the trial locations.

Our speaker is Paulette Leon and she will be addressing the role of different personalities in negotiations.  Paulette is a of MBA graduate from UT Chattanooga.  Her experience includes Assistant Dean and Instructor at Georgia Northwestern Technical College where she was nominated as a Rick Perkins Teacher of Excellence.  Currently Paulette works for TVA as a Contracts Manager and has over ten years of contract management experience.  She is a recent addition to APICS and has joined the Tri-State board as the new VP of Programs.

Dr. Whitehair also worked as a Manufacturing Consultant for Arthur Andersen and in a variety of research and development positions for IBM, GTE and General Motors. Dr. Whitehair has developed over 1000 models in industries such as forest products, chemicals, financial services, energy, healthcare, and engineering. Dr. Whitehair earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts.
