Please join us at 12:00 PM Eastern on Tuesday, June 28th for a free one hour webinar discussing substitutability as an option to meet customer service levels in the face of uncertainty of demand. Robert C. Whitehair, Ph.D., RiverLogic Founder and Chief Research Officer, Board Director will be exploring some example situations of the business tradeoffs that are faced when dealing with these sort of decisions. These touch on the contractual commitments to the customer, competitive environment, the cost of expediting, and opportunity costs of forgone lower margin of a sale today versus the higher margin of a sale tomorrow. Bob’s experience with business and operational modeling spanning different industries will inform the discussion about the tradeoffs for using substitution strategically in your supply chain and when it makes sense for your business.
